(Sung to the tune of Edelweiss)
Bless our food, bless us here.
Come, O Lord, and be with us.
Make our talk glow with peace.
Let your love now surround us.
Friendship and peace,
may they live and grow,
live and grow forever.
Bless us friends,
bless us here.
Bless your people forever.
Remember us, O Dearest Mary, Our Mother and Patroness of Catholic Daughters. We offer you our work, joy, and trials. We ask for your intercession as we reach out to women with love and enthusiastic invitations to increase our membership. Help us, O Most Holy Virgin, to be faithful to your Rosary, for peace in our homes, our nation, and the world. We ask you to bless and protect our families and guide the unity and charity we do for our "Circle of Love." We ask this through your son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
Mother Mary, may this mantle in your honor ever remind us of your unfailing love and care for us. You are the Masterpiece of God's creation. May we strive to imitate you in your faith, your strength, your joy, and your care and concern for all. May we say with you, "Behold, the handmaid of the Lord," and always place our trust in God's loving holy will. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the precious gift of life. Help us to cherish and protect this gift, even in the midst of fear, pain, and suffering. Give us love for all people, especially the most vulnerable, and help us bear witness to the truth that every life is worth living.
St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did, in God's great love for me, so that I might imitate your "Little Way" each day. Amen.
Lord God, I thank you for the gift of life, and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, yet I rejoice that you have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son. I am ready to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit myself never to be silent, never to be passive, never to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit myself to be active in the Pro-Life movement, and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to fulfill Your provise of salvation. You call young men to Your priesthood just as Jesus called the first Apostles. Provide our Seminarians with the spiritual strength to follow Your call. We pray that they be guided by the Holy Spirit as they prepare for priesthood. Grant them the courage to faithfully live the Good News as they learn to minister to Your people. We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen. Mary, Queen of Clergy, pray for them.
Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests. Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments. Help our priests to be strong in their vocation. Set their souls on fire with love for your people. Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Amen.
O Holy Mother of God, Pray for our priests who your Son has chosen to serve the Church. Help them, by your intercession, to be holy, zealous and chaste. Make them a model of virtue in the service of God's people. Help them to be pious in meditation, efficacious in preaching, and zealous in the daily offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Help them administer the Sacraments with love and joy. Amen.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that, by the same Holy Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in God's consolation through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Take my hand O Blessed Mother.
Hold me firmly lest I fall;
I am nervous when I'm walking
And on thee I humbly call.
Guide me over every crossing,
Watch me when I'm on the stairs,
Let me know you are beside me,
Listen to my fervent prayers.
Bring me to my destination,
Safely every single day,
Help me with my understanding,
As the hours pass away.
And when evening falls upon us,
And I fear to be alone,
Take my hand O Blessed mother,
Once again and lead me home.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in they mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
Patroness of Court Cedar Rapids #1768
Little Flower of Jesus, ever refreshing troubled hearts with your promised roses of blessing, in your wondrous intercession, we place our trust. Obtain for us from the Sacred Heart of Jesus the blessings of which we stand in the greatest need. Shower the roses upon us, that faithfully following in your footsteps, we may merit the crown of eternal glory. Amen.
St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
May our feet journey together.
May our hands gather in unity.
May our hearts beat in unison.
May our souls be in harmony.
May our thoughts be as one.
May our ears listen to the silence together.
May our glances profoundly penetrate each other.
May our lips pray together to gain mercy from the Eternal Father.
Amen.
